In a school accident, an 11-year-old girl’s right upper frontal tooth broke in two. She brought the broken particle in her hand to the dental surgery.

Examination revealed that the line of fracture went right through the nerve chamber and so the nerve surfaced.

The open wound of the pulp was covered with an antiseptic substance.

Once the broken piece has been properly disinfected, it was pasted back to where it belonged.
